Cloud solutions provider
HOSTING.com (HOSTING) and cloud optimization company Exceda, LLC (Exceda) have formed a partnership. HOSTING, which has headquarters in Denver, Colorado, United States, bills itself as offering cloud solutions that “empower companies to increase their revenues, reduce their expenses and manage their risk”. Exceda, whose headquarters are in São Paulo, Brazil, offers access to the “world's leading cloud optimization, security and performance platforms”. The partnership gives each company opportunities in the others traditional market place and together they will cooperate on enhancing the “performance, security and intelligence” of websites and web applications.
HOSTING has a network of HIPAA, PCI DSS and SOC-compliant data centers in six “geographically-dispersed” locations. Exceda, which was established in 2003, has customers in the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru. The two companies will deliver “high performance, highly scalable security, and sophisticated web intelligence solutions for online businesses and applications”. Together they will initially offer services to mid-sized companies in a number of business areas (including SaaS, ecommerce, healthcare and financial services). These services will be designed to speed up page load times and offer a layer of protection against DDoS attacks.
