Cloud website backup services provider CodeGuard, Inc. (CodeGuard) and internet services provider Web.com Group, Inc. (Web.com) have formed a partnership. CodeGuard, which has headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, caters to around 100,000 customers by offering fully automated website backups directly to the cloud. Established in 2010, the company’s customers include major industry players like HostGator, Yahoo and Rackspace. The partnership will see Web.com offer CodeGuard’s services to its customers.

One of the internet’s pioneers, Web.com, which has headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, prides itself helping small businesses “compete and succeed online”. It offers a wide range of products and services that extend to website design offerings alongside Unix web hosting and domain name registration services. The company also offers SEO services and email hosting. CodeGuard’s backup options will be offered as an “add on” service to Web.com customers who sign up for their hosting plans. CodeGuard’s services include its ‘ChangeAlert’ daily website monitoring which provides email notifications of any changes to websites.
