The .CO registry is offering premium 'two character' .CO domain names through leading web host and domain name provider
Go Daddy's 'Aftermarket' service - a secondary domain names market that allows registrants to register a domain name that is already registered or expiring. These domains will soon also be available through the domain availability check on the front page of the Go Daddy website.
Previously two-character premium .CO domain names had been reserved by .CO Registry, and were only available through the .CO Registry website. Examples of the name already sold include CS.co (used by Cisco for social media activity), UP.co (used by UP Global) and FI.co (used by the Founder Institute). Around 1,100 two-character .CO domains are now listed through Go Daddy's domains platform, reaching prices between $10,000 and $100,000.
"At this point, the demand for premium two-character .CO domain names is far too great for us to continue to manage exclusively in-house," explained VP of Brand of .CO, Lori Anne Wardi. "Go Daddy is the perfect partner to help us start expanding our distribution channel to the world of SMBs and global businesses who are looking for short, memorable premium domain names to launch their big ideas."
