The certification received from the audit represents an “internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)” and requires investigation by a major public accounting and auditing firm who provides an independent report on ColoServe’s business processes. An SAS 70 Type I report shows whether a company’s description of controls over information technology and hosting operations fulfill their specified objectives control objectives.
