Colocation Platform Provider Options Adds Key Exchanges
Colocation platform provider Options has added key exchanges to its managed platform. Options, which has headquarters in London, United Kingdom, was established in 1993. The company offers a range of colocation and other services with a focus on the financial industry. Alongside managed services these include Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) options and application hosting and management. The company caters to more than 200 companies around the world and these include investment banks, hedge fund operators, and private equity houses. The company has added Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and Singapore Exchange (SGX) to its platform.

With the additional exchanges, Options’ managed colocation services are available “at over 25 key trading venues across Europe, North America, South Africa and Asia”. Connection with JSE gives Options’ customers access to South Africa’s equities and derivatives markets. Likewise, SGX gives customers access to APAC region. The new additions add to existing connectivity to BME in Madrid, SIX in Zurich, Borsa Italiana in Milan and Nasdaq in Stockholm. The company also plans to connect with the Korea Exchange (KRX) in Seoul in the very near future.
