Concessions and Construction Company VINCI Acquires Cloud Provider APX Intégration
Concessions and construction company VINCI has acquired cloud provider APX Intégration. The company, which has headquarters in Rueil Malmaison Cedex, France, specializes in designing, financing, building and operating “infrastructure and facilities that help improve daily life and mobility for all”. The company caters to around 185,000 customers globally. Its purchase of APX Intégration was made through Axians, VINCI’s information and communication technologies brand.

APX Intégration, which has headquarters in Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or, France, specializes in turnkey IT” which includes solutions for storage, servers, networks and virtualization. In 2014 the company earned €130 million ($168 million) and it employs around 360 people. VINCI’s acquisition will not be finalized until the deal has been scrutinized by the French competition authority.

“This acquisition is an effective addition to Axians’ cloud and data center expertise,” explained Yves Meignié, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VINCI Energies. “APX Intégration’s diversified client portfolio (SMEs, large companies, public sector) and ecosystem of major technology partners will be very helpful in driving the expansion of Axians.”
