Control Panel Provider DirectAdmin and Operating System Provider CloudLinux Form Partnership
Control panel provider DirectAdmin and operating system provider CloudLinux have formed a partnership. DirectAdmin, which has headquarters in St Albert, Canada, was established in 2004. The company bills itself as offering “clean, fast, lightweight performance for end-users and system administrators with the most competitive pricing in the industry”. The partnership will see DirectAdmin begin to offer CloudLinux OS as its “preferred operating system”.

CloudLinux OS, which has headquarters in Palo Alto, California, United States, bills itself as “on a mission to make Linux secure, stable, and profitable”. In excess of 4,000 customers (including companies like Dell) have made 60,000 installations of CloudLinux OS products to date. While already integrated with DirectAdmin, the partnership will see CloudLinux OS and DirectAdmin integration improve further.

“Lightweight Virtual Environment Manager and other core components of CloudLinux OS will work more smoothly and seamlessly for the end user”, explained the CEO of CloudLinux, Igor Seletskiy. “We also add DirectAdmin fully integrated support to our suite of other control panel partners such as cPanel, Plesk, and ISPmanager.”
