Web Hosting Provider Covad and TalkSwitch Launch Small Business Voice and Broadband Bundle
December 8, 2006 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Web hosting provider Covad (http://www.covad.com) and TalkSwitch have launched a voice and broadband bundle, the companies announced this week. The bundle is self-installable and meets small businesses needs for an easily-installable, affordable solution that offers business-class reliability, features and support.
The bundle comprises Covad's ClearEdge Integrated Access, a high-speed voice and data line optimized for high-quality voice service, and the TalkSwitch 480vs, a self-installable telephone system.
"The Covad-TalkSwitch bundle enables small businesses to enjoy the benefits and reliability of a 'big business' solution without the complexity or high cost," suggested Eric Weiss, Covads Chief Marketing Officer. "Small businesses are no longer forced to choose from expensive and complex enterprise systems or low-quality consumer-grade services."
The self-installed solution means small businesses avoid costs related to visits by vendors. They can also get the system running more quickly being in control of its installation.
"We are excited to work with Covad because of its long history and track record of providing competitive business-class communication services and working successfully with partners," said Jan Scheeren, president and CEO, TalkSwitch. "Covad's national network enables our 1500 channel partners to serve small businesses throughout the US, resulting in better local service and support for customers, and an ongoing source of new business for our channel partners."
