Web Hosting Provider Covad Communications Partners with IKANO Communications
July 14, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Covad Communications (http://www.covad.com), an integrated voice and data communications provider whose services include web hosting, has partnered with IKANO Communications (http://www. ikano.com), a private-label, wholesale, and retail Internet services provider, it was announced recently. The partnership will enable IKANO to offer Covad’s T1 and ADSL2+ services to its partners and customers. IKANO will migrate approximately 4,000 subscriber lines onto Covad’s ADSL service as part of the agreement.
Covad’s ADSL 2+ services provide data speeds of up to 15.0 Mbps enabling bandwidth hungry applications such as video streaming which will be available to IKANO’s 250+ partners and thousands of retail subscribers.
