ThreatConnect and IT services company CenturyLink have partnered on managed security services. ThreatConnect, which has headquarters in Arlington County, Virginia, United States, was established in 2011. The company specializes in advanced threat intelligence software and services. Its flagship ThreatConnect platform is “the most comprehensive Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) on the market”, catering for over 1,600 companies and agencies worldwide. The partnership will enable CenturyLink’s managed security services to leverage the ThreatConnect Platform.
With head offices in Monroe, Louisiana, United States, CenturyLink offers a wide range of services, from hosting, cloud and IT services, to Big Data analytics, IT consulting, and global communications. The company’s services enable “millions of customers to transform their businesses and their lives through innovative technology solutions”. It has extensive fiber networks both in the United States and globally. CenturyLink offers advanced threat services such as security log monitoring (SLM), threat analysis and incident management/response services. The partnership with ThreatConnect allows CenturyLink to consider threat-related intelligence and deal with possible threats accordingly.
