Cyberfort Group has been acquired by IT security consultancy Agenci. Agenci has headquarters in Wakefield, Yorkshire, United Kingdom as well as offices in London. The company deals with the legal and regulatory requirements of businesses across the UK. Established in 2004, its services cover areas like ISO 27001, data governance, PCI DSS, and GDPR. Its services also extend to third party audits. Financial aspects of the company’s acquisition of the Cyberfort Group have not been released.
Private equity-backed Cyberfort Group has headquarters in Sandwich, Kent, in the South of England. Established in 2017, the company offers “best of breed products and services in the field of data security” which it provides by “targeted acquisition, industry recruitment and investment in research and development”. The company is backed by Palatine Private Equity, owners of ‘The Bunker’ - the UK’s “most physically-secure data center and managed services hosting provider”. The company also owns Arcturus, a cyber security testing provider.
"We searched for a best-in-breed cyber security consultancy and found that in Agenci,” explained Cyberfort Group’s Chief Executive Andy Hague in a press release. “Proper strategic guidance is often the missing link when it comes to security and compliance. This is what Agenci provides and all the clients within our Group now stand to benefit from this world-class expertise”.
