ActionPoint Technology Group (ActionPoint) has acquired expert IT services provider P2V Systems. ActionPoint, which has headquarters in Limerick, Munster, Republic of Ireland, was established in 2005. The company offers IT options alongside “bespoke software development”. ActionPoint’s infrastructure management services ensure its customers’ IT environments are “aligned with the current and future requirements” of their businesses. Its services extend to cloud computing, virtualization, storage, disaster recovery and managed services. Financial aspects of the deal were not released, but it was announced ActionPoint’s acquisition of P2V Systems would help create 20 new jobs in the Lisburn, County Antrim area of Ireland.
With headquarters in Lisburn, P2V Systems was established in 2008. ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 27001:2013 accredited, the company is also part of the G-Cloud 9 and Tech2 frameworks. P2V Systems specializes in Microsoft Azure solutions including “Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery, Office 365 deployments”. It bills itself as “experts in migrating services from traditional hosting environments to Azure” and offers tailored managed hybrid or cloud-only solutions that leverage Microsoft technologies.
“As an established and award-winning Microsoft solutions provider in Northern Ireland, we are strengthened by this acquisition and look forward to expanding our portfolio of existing services to include custom software development, IoT and AI to best service our customers in Northern Ireland,” explained the CEO of P2V Systems, Stephen McCann. “We have always been passionate about investing in the local community here and creating opportunity. We are thrilled to announce the formation of 20 new jobs over the next two years as a result of our continued expansion,” he added.
