Data Center Colocation Provider Datacenter.com Announces Launch of New Channel Partner Program
Data center colocation provider Datacenter.com has announced the launch of a new channel partner program. Datacenter.com, which has headquarters and carrier-neutral data center facilities in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, was established in 2015. The company prides itself on redefining Data Center-as-a-Service (DCaaS) by “delivering advanced infrastructure and innovative services”. Located in Amsterdam’s business district, its ‘AMS1’ facility is ISO 14001:2015-accredited and powered by 100% renewable energy. The company is also noted for buying the ‘Datacenter.com’ domain name for “more than $500,000”. The new channel partner program will feature “a flexible month-to-month colocation subscription model” that was launched at the end of 2017.

Datacenter.com’s new program targets companies that will offer its colocation services as their own packages. ‘Start Direct Cabinets’, its colocation subscription model, is designed to meet the needs of “cloud-oriented companies with dynamic operations and/or hybrid IT infrastructures in place”, or companies that will refer potential customers to Datacenter.com. The program offers channel partners a number of benefits including lead/referral generation on a commission basis, and a reseller partnership that is designed for ‘easy selling’ with data center infrastructure delivered without long-term contract commitments.

“Channel partners selected by Datacenter.com will be able to benefit from our significant investments in state-of-the-art carrier-neutral data center infrastructure as well as our competitive price levels,” explained Datacenter.com’s CEO, Jochem Steman. "Initially, the program will be available from our brand new AMS1 facility in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, but soon our portfolio of facilities as well as the program will be expanded into other areas around the world - as we’ve planned a fast rollout of carrier-neutral data centers in strategic markets worldwide. The 54,000 square feet facility in the Amsterdam South-East business district is highly secured and outfitted with enterprise-grade amenities such as redundant N+1 cooling units, 2N power and 2N water supply. Next to that, we’ve used indirect adiabatic cooling technology to maximize energy savings, while the facility is certified as compliant for all relevant data center management regulations.”
