Data Center Company SolidSpace Achieves Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Compliance
Data center company SolidSpace has achieved Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 compliance. SolidSpace, which has headquarters in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States, was established in 1993. The company provides a range of services including colocation, physical and virtual server hosting and disaster recovery options. With SSAE 16 SOC 2 Type II compliance the company is recognized as being able to deliver “secure, high-performing data center services”.

The SSAE 16 standard applies to organizations that require effective control of financial reporting. Established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, it applies to data centers as they are vehicles for the delivery of financial reports. For an organization to be considered standard compliant a range of third-party audits are required to address issues such as security, availability, processing integrity confidentiality, and privacy. CPA and SOC audit specialists ‘The Moore Group’ conducted SolidSpace’s audits.

“SOC 2 is a big milestone for which our company is very proud," explained SolidSpace’s co-founder, CEO and President, James Capps III. “Compliance means customers can trust us to deliver secure, safe and productive IT environments that enable their businesses to maximize up-time." He added, “”Providing all of these capabilities and our compliance with SSAE 16 SOC 2 Type II demonstrates our relentless pursuit to deliver exemplary data center services to our clients”.
