Data Center Service Provider Web Werks Achieves Tier III ‘Certification of Design’

Data center services provider Web Werks India Pvt. Ltd. (Web Werks) has achieved Tier III ‘Certification of Design”. Established in 1996, Web Werks is “one of the leading data center providers in India”. A carrier neutral data center specialist with headquarters in Mumbai, India, the company operates Tier III and Tier IV centers which include facilities in the United States. With 5,000 customers globally, its PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001 and SSAE16-compliant hosting services extend to cloud and VPS hosting, dedicated servers and colocation. Web Werks was awarded the certification by independent advisory organization, the Uptime Institute.
Established in 1993 and with headquarters in New York, United States, the Uptime Institute is “an unbiased advisory organization focused on improving the performance, efficiency, and reliability of business critical infrastructure through innovation, collaboration, and independent certifications”. To meet the institute’s standards Web Werks’ network, electrical, mechanical and structural elements needed to comply with “the most robust industry standards” and had to display the ability to provide uninterrupted services.
