Data center solutions provider
QuadraNet has acquired internet transit and transport company DB Transit. QuadraNet, which has headquarters in Orlando, Florida, United States, operates data centers in Atlanta, Dallas, and Miami. The company offers a range of services which include dedicated servers and colocation. Its acquisition of DB Transit enables the company to combine product lines to “form a more complete range of service offerings”. Financial aspects of the deal have not been announced but it was confirmed that “there are no plans to make staffing changes or modify service pricing at this time”.
DB Transit, which has headquarters in Oviedo, Florida, United States, bills itself as providing “complete internet solutions”. It offers a range of products and services including colocation, IP transit and transport. As a result of the acquisition, the company has changed its name to Xlitt. Transit and transport customers will be serviced by Xlitt, while colocation customers of will be transitioned to QuadraNet's colocation options.
"QuadraNet is excited to utilize Josh's years of experience and industry connections to further our goal of offering a cost effective and optimized transit service to our existing colocation and dedicated server customers," explained QuadraNet’s CEO, Ilan Mishan. "With this acquisition, we will be better able to assist our customers with their diverse set of datacenter needs. Xlitt customers will now have access to a 24/7 manned Network Operations Center with knowledgeable technicians. We are also in the process of developing a DDoS protected transit service so that customers can have their network protected from this growing threat to service reliability."
