Data virtualization leader
Denodo has made its platform available through the ‘Microsoft Azure Marketplace’. Denodo, which has headquarters in Palo Alto, California, United States, was established in 1999. The company provides “agile, high performance data integration, data abstraction, and real-time data services” that can be utilized for cloud, ‘Big Data’, and unstructured data sources. Denodo claims its services are available at “half the cost of traditional approaches”. The ‘Denodo Platform’ will be available through the Azure Marketplace on a subscription basis.
A number of Denodo customers with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based applications, or applications running in clouds, have utilized data virtualization through a single Denodo license hosted on their own cloud. With Denodo in the Azure Marketplace, Denodo Platform deployments are made “in a matter of minutes” and customers are able to integrate cloud, on-premises apps and data by creating a hybrid data fabric. ‘Denodo Platform on Azure’ allows businesses to benefit from data virtualization “on a flexible, pay-as-you-go basis”. The scalable solution allows users to increase or decrease infrastructure for virtual machines. It also allows organizations to leverage the load balancing offered through standard Microsoft tools and “swiftly scale out through cluster-based subscription”.
