November 7, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Dedicated hosting provider Limestone Networks (http://www.limestonenetworks.com) has opened a new data center in Dallas, Texas, USA, it was reported recently. The center, located in the DataBank building, features all-fiber connectivity, multiple connections to the power grid, redundant power and cooling systems, and multiple security layers.

“This is probably the most secure data center in commercial use," explained Limestone Networks’ CEO, Mr. Gary Kendall. “The DataBank building used to house the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. In 2000, it was thoroughly renovated to take advantage of its inherent security features, creating one of the most desirable facilities in the US for the server hosting industry.”

According to the company, they have “applied the most rigorous standards of design, testing and maintenance” to the new facility, which further features six utility feeds from the Dallas Central Business District power grid, featuring reliable N+3 transformers with ATS switches, plus secure, concrete encased building feeds, UPS and Generator Backup Power using true A+B power configurations and providing N+1 redundancy, 24/7/365 on site security, and card and biometric hand scanner access. The center will receive annual SAS 70 audits.

“We believe that our customers should never have any concerns whatsoever about the security, reliability and integrity of their hosted data and applications,” added Mr. Kendall. “That’s the reason we built this new facility.”

Limestone Networks, Inc. offers “affordable, customizable, self-managed, dedicated server solutions” to web hosting companies and hosting resellers.
