Dedicated servers and cloud hosting solutions provider
ServerPronto has acquired BareMetalCloud’s hosting business unit. ServerPronto has headquarters in Miami, Florida, United States and was established in 1999. The company’s offerings also include web hosting, VPS, and colocation, services it offers through a US-based SSAE16, SAS70 and SOCII-certified data center. The company is a Microsoft Partner and Cisco CCNA certified. The acquisition gives BareMetalCloud’s hosting customers access to ServerPronto’s products and services. Financial aspects of the deal have not been released.
BareMetalCloud, which has headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States, was established in 2007. The company bills itself as “the first to automate delivery dedicated servers with hourly billing and an api”. With customers around the world, it supports businesses in a number of industries with options that include dedicated servers. The acquisition gives BareMetalCloud’s customers access to ServerPronto’s disaster recovery, disaster avoidance, managed hosting, managed backups, and DDoS protection options.
“With the addition of BareMetalCloud, we further our mission of providing the best-dedicated server and cloud hosting service for our clients from around the world,” explained ServerPronto’s CEO, Chris Kurzweg. “There are a now a lot of large public cloud service providers, but there is a trend towards businesses looking to move their infrastructure to providers who offer highly managed and personalized services.”
