Hivelocity now offers DDoS protection services which include the Corero’s Threat Defense System. The company, which has headquarters in Tampa City, Florida, USA, caters to a global customer base with a broad range of services such as dedicated server, colocation and cloud hosting options. Its addition of the Corero’s Threat Defense System adds another layer of protection for its customers.
Hivelocity prides itself on a 100% network uptime and has only been able to maintain these standards by continually investing in upgrading its infrastructure and network. The addition of the Corero Threat Defense System is its latest upgrade. It includes the Corero Smartwall which detects network threats and automatically blocks them before they become problematic. It works alongside Hivelocity’s proprietary solutions to defend against all manner of malicious threats, blocking them immediately upon detection. The system uses a range of tools to do this including recognizing attack signature patterns and utilizing historical data to “block specific IPs, countries and/or regions with poor reputations known to be threat sources”.
