Diane Bryant Joins Cloud Giant Google Cloud as COO
Diane Bryant has joined cloud giant Google Cloud as Chief Operations Officer (COO). With headquarters in Mountain View, California, United States, Google Cloud is a division of Alphabet Inc. – Google’s umbrella organization. The company is a leading player in the cloud industry and over recent months gained a number of high profile customers. The addition of Ms. Bryant to Google Cloud’s executive team underscores the company’s expansion plans.

News of Ms. Bryant’s arrival to the company was announced by Google Cloud’s CEO Diane Greene on the company’s blog. A thirty-year industry veteran, Ms. Bryant was formerly part of Intel’s executive team and held the position of Group President at the company’s Data Center Group. She was in this role for 5 years and focused on cloud computing, network virtualization and artificial intelligence activity. Intel’s Data Center Group earned $17 billion in revenue in 2016. She also held Corporate Vice President and Chief Information Officer positions at Intel.

“Google Cloud is the most technologically advanced, most highly available, and most open cloud in the world,” suggested Ms. Greene on the company’s blog. “We are growing at an extraordinary rate as we enable businesses to become smarter with data, increase their agility, collaborate and secure their information. Diane’s strategic acumen, technical knowledge and client focus will prove invaluable as we accelerate the scale and reach of Google Cloud. I am personally looking forward to working closely with Diane Bryant as we enter what promises to be a great 2018 for Google Cloud”.
