Digital, business consulting and technology services provider Synechron has joined the Microsoft Azure Blockchain Council.
Synechron, which has headquarters in New York, United States, was established in 2001. Alongside the United States, the company has a presence in Australia, Canada, UK, Japan, The Netherlands, Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Italy, France, and India. The move underscores the increasing importance of blockchain technology.
Blockchain allows businesses to make transactions that are instantly verified using a digital ledger that is shared between networks of computers. The Microsoft Azure Blockchain Council is a collection of Microsoft partners that work together to establish and manage blockchain applications on Azure. It aims to bring together the companies that offer blockchain technology and those who wish to adopt it. By joining the council Synechron will help encourage digital adoption through the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
