April 10, 2008 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Seen as the first web hosting consolidation in Irelands web hosting industry for over a decade, Irish web host, broadband and telecoms provider Digiweb (http://hosting.digiweb.ie) has bought Novara (http://www.novara.ie/), it was reported this week. Novara is well known for its Host.ie and its Register.ie brands. Reports suggest that Digiweb is also considering other acquisitions in both Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Our drive to bring better services and value to the Irish hosting market has been further strengthened by the acquisition of Novara, explained Digiwebs Hosting and Managed Infrastructure Manager, Mr. Dan King. Were absolutely thrilled to welcome Novaras experienced and knowledgeable team to Digiweb and look forward to supporting existing Novara customers with the same expert team and top service they already enjoy, and offering them now a single solution provider for their hosting, datacenter, broadband and telecoms needs.
Novara customers and staff will benefit hugely from Digiwebs proven commitment to the Irish hosting industry, added Novaras Founder and Managing Director, Eoin Costello. Digiwebs determination to become the number one provider in the Irish hosting market, there being a wholly owned Irish business with strong customer service and business growth as a focus, made them the obvious choice as the best long term home to our customers. We know that they will be well looked after.
Digiweb operates its own datacenter in Blanchardstown, a suburb of Dublin, Ireland.
