Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service Company Bluelock Features in Gartner Report

Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) company Bluelock has featured in a report produced by Stamford, Connecticut, United States-based marketing, market research and advisory company Gartner, Inc. (Gartner).
Bluelock, whose headquarters are in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States, specializes in DRaaS for “complex environments and sensitive data”. The company offers “highly resilient cloud services” that support its customers particular requirements that are available through SSAE 16 Type II SOC 2-certified data centers located in the United States. The company achieved “top ten” status in Gartner’s 2015 report entitled “Critical Capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service: Production and Application Data Recovery, Mission-Critical Workload Recovery, Extended Recovery Operations and Managed Service Failover”.
The report highlights the fact that in 2015 DRaaS became “mainstream” with over 30,000 users and speculates that by 2018 the number of organizations using DRaaS will “exceed the number of organizations using traditional, syndicated recovery services.” The report considers Bluelock and 13 other vendors against a number of key capabilities including “physical and virtual system recovery, testing and declaration, service manageability, pricing policy, resiliency, security and compliance, value-added services and customer experience”. Bluelock also featured in Gartner’s “Visionaries” quadrant of the 2015 “Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service.”
