DiscountASP.NET Launches Free ASP.NET Beta Hosting Program
April 20, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - ASP.NET web hosting and SQL hosting provider, DiscountASP.NET, announces the launch of ASP.NET 2.0 Beta Hosting. A free ASP.NET 2.0 Beta 2 hosting test account is available as an optional add-on to all DiscountASP.NET web hosting customers.
DiscountASP.NET customers can enable their ASP.NET 2.0 Beta Hosting account instantly via their Hosting Control Panel. This ASP.NET beta hosting program will continue until the final version of ASP.NET 2.0 is officially released.
ASP.NET is a programming framework built on the common language runtime and can be used on a web server to run powerful web applications. The first version of ASP.NET offered advantages over previous web development models. ASP.NET 2.0 improves upon that foundation by adding support for many new features to increase developer productivity, extensibility, and performance.
Along with the release of Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2, Microsoft also introduces an addendum to their End User License Agreement (EULA), called the "go-live" license, allowing users to deploy web applications on a Beta 2 environment.
