February 17, 2006 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Domain name registrar and web hosting provider eNom, Inc. (http://www.enom.com) has announced that it now has five million domain names on its books. The companys achievement has been driven by phenomenal growth typified by its 2005 figures. Last year eNom became world's third largest domain name registrar through a 29% increase in domain name registrations, a 43% increase in revenues, and a 34% increase is staff.
"For a mature, accomplished company to be showing such strong growth is a tribute to strategic direction and excellent implementation of technology in an ever-changing field," explains Paul Stahura, eNom Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer. "Our emphasis on empowering volume-oriented, independent resellers around the globe is what most distinguishes eNom."
ENoms 2005 growth was likely spurred by the introduction of a range of new offerings including new country-code top level domains (ccTLDs), SSL certificates and a multilingual version of the companys PDQ domain name reselling kit alongside a range of value-added services such as web hosting. The company currently has nearly 14,000 active resellers.
