Domain Registrar and Web Host GoDaddy Returns to Super Bowl Advertising
After a relatively long break, domain registrar and web host GoDaddy returns to Super Bowl advertising with a new commercial called "Good Morning". GoDaddy has headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States and is a household name in the country - primarily a result of its previous Super Bowl commercials. These risqué offerings often featured ‘GoDaddy Girl’ and professional stock car racing driver, Danica Patrick. The latest commercial “introduces a new character who personifies the Internet, and the idea that no one knows the Internet like GoDaddy”.

According to a number of sources, Fox is charging $5 million for 30 seconds of air-time during this year’s event. GoDaddy’s thirty-second spot “is a rollercoaster ride of Internet gags with a product payoff”. The commercial is part of a long-term advertising campaign promoting GoCentral, GoDaddy’s new mobile-optimized website builder which features marketing and ecommerce tools. GoCentral is so flexible that users can set up websites using only mobile phones.

"Our new GoCentral service deserved a Super Bowl-sized launch, and our 'Internet' character definitely delivers," explained Barb Rechterman, Chief Marketing Officer at GoDaddy. "Think about how the Internet, universally, changed how we live, work, shop, communicate, connect and entertain. We pay homage to so much of that in our new Super Bowl spot, which is packed with visual humor aimed at men and women of all ages. In fact, we came home with enough awesome footage for two or three commercials – we're saving the best of it for a special Super Bowl Sunday Internet-Only version at GoDaddy.com."
