New Domain Auction Site DomainDunk.com Opens for Business |

September 14, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – New domain auction site DomainDunk.com (http://www.domaindunk.com) has opened for business today, introducing a website where “both web developers and beginners alike can buy and sell established websites and domain names”.
“Domain Dunk is different than many other auction sites because we integrate our listings with listings from other sources,” explained Domain Dunk founder Zachary R. McClung. “We have designed the site to be a ‘one-stop shop’ for all of our users’ domain needs.”
McClung is also the founder and owner Biz Hosting Network, LLC (http://www.bizhostingnetwork.com), a company that provides shared Web hosting and colocation services. “At Biz Hosting Network we saw a demand for a domain auction site that tailored to everyone from beginners to experienced domain brokers. Based on that premise, we developed a site that offers two key benefits: ease of use and powerful tools.”
Domain Dunk users will not be required to register in order to in order to buy, bid or counter on the site; they just click on the buy/bid link next to the domain that interests them. The site will then transfer them to the auction, where they can make their bid and then finish the transaction.
McClung said the site will soon release Basic and Premium membership levels, in addition to the Free membership. The Free membership allows users to "watch" the domains that interest them. Free users will need to pay a small fee in order to list their own domains in the auction.
The Basic membership will allow users five free listing in the auction per month, plus an enhanced “watch” feature. The Premium membership will include unlimited listings, premium domains, advanced search functions, and daily e-mail alerts that list the hottest new domains.
In addition to the auction service, Domain Dunk will offer its customers a variety of resources, including weekly newsletters for all registered users and a directory of articles and resources for auction site users. |
