Web Hosting Provider Doreo Hosting Partners with Righteous Software to Deliver Backup Solution |

November 9, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Doreo Hosting (http://www.doreo.com) has partnered with Righteous Software to deliver an ‘innovative’ backup solution, the company announced today. Doreo is one of the first hosts to utilize the new backup technology which allows “nearly continuous data backups of all customer accounts.” Doreo’s previous backup solution required backups of entire accounts whereas its new solution allows backups of only disk-sectors that have been changed. This feature means backups can be made more frequently.
“The cardinal goal in backing up our clients’ data is to offer a true layer of security for everybody—even us,” explained President of Doreo Hosting, Mr. Frank Feingold. “Hard drives fail, scripts break, and sometimes customers just go ‘oops’ and delete the wrong file. We need a solid solution that will allow us, and our customers, to quickly recover from these situations.”
With their new solution in place, Doreo is able to completely reschedule its backup regime. Hourly backups will be taken with 14 day retention alongside weekly and monthly backups with 8 week retention. “I’m confident our customers will be just as thrilled about these backups as we are,” added Mr. Feingold. “For our customers, it’s very reassuring to know their data is absolutely safe—a reassurance most hosts can’t offer. I think that will be a big draw for Doreo.”
No additional charges have been passed to Doreo customers as a result of the new system’s implementation. |
