Web Hosting Provider Easynet Expands Relationship with Level 3 across Europe
May 17, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Easynet has expanded its relationship with Level 3 across Europe, it was announced yesterday. The company will act as a “key strategic network supplier; delivering backbone solutions across 15 locations in Europe”.
The new multi-year agreement that outlines this “expanded relationship” suggests Level 3 will deliver both “10GigE and 1GigE LAN PHY intercity and metropolitan wavelength services as part of Easynet's commitment to delivering superbly managed solutions to its international enterprise customers”. The network solution replaces the STM-4 network operating since 2003.

Level 3 has one of the world's largest Internet backbones and provides “reliable, high capacity bandwidth to meet growing demand from customers with rich media traffic”. The company operates “in more than 175 key markets in Europe and North America, with metropolitan networks in 125 cities”. Easynet is part of BSkyB. Its customers include Holmes Place, Paperchase, Northern Grid for Learning, the London Symphony Orchestra, and Kellogg’s.
