Ed Buck Joins Data Center Services Provider Evocative
Mr. Ed Buck has joined data center service provider Evocative, LLC, (Evocative). Evocative, which has headquarters in Emeryville, California, United States, was established in 1996. The company is an “owner and operator of secure, compliant, highly available data centers”. Its services extend to colocation, hybrid IT, managed private cloud, dedicated hosting, and network and security services. Mr. Buck joins Evocative as VP of Technology and Service Delivery.

An industry veteran, Mr. Buck was Vice President of Services at UnitedLayer in San Francisco before joining Evocative. At UnitedLayer he was in charge of Operations and Engineering teams. He also founded scalable managed hosting solutions provider ASPextra. Other roles include a position at Oracle where he was in charge of acquisitions and internet and commerce technologies implementation. He was also the founder of Aptimon. At Evocative he will be in charge of the “design, delivery, maintenance, operations and support of Evocative’s full suite of data center services”. He holds a BA in English, Economics from Pomona College in Claremont, California, United States.
