Mr. Edwin Avent has joined managed cloud company
Opulent Cloud. Opulent Cloud, which has headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland, was established in 2012. The company offers a full suite of cloud products and services including managed cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), infrastructure security, business continuity, and disaster planning and recovery alongside Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) options. It operates cloud facilities in Miami, Florida and Dallas, Texas, United States. Mr. Aventas joins the company as Executive Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.
An industry veteran with “25 years of executive-level marketing, sales, and media experience”, Mr. Avent is “a well-known figure in the media industry”. From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, he has held executive positions at several companies including Heart and Soul Magazine, SSN Television Network, and Twenty First Century Group Advertising and Public Relations. He achieved a Bachelor of Science in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University. His role at Opulent Cloud will see him develop new business partnerships and lead the company’s managed cloud computing company activity.
