Ektron now enables its users to adopt the cloud without having to change IT infrastructure to support cloud software. The new Ektron Managed Cloud service offers the Ektron CMS alongside a range of features common to high performance cloud offerings. These include scalability, high security, redundancy, and high availability with ongoing support and monitoring.
The Ektron CMS focuses on business customers and enables users to create and manage "digital experiences" in the shape of websites, website pages and content. With headquarters in Nashua, New Hampshire, Ektron has a presence in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. Its customer base includes Microsoft, NASDAQ, and the UK's National Health Service.
The Ektron CMS system offers visual drag and drop page design capabilities alongside support for Responsive Web Design and Adaptive Image Resizing. It also offers a number of optimization tools for marketing and SEO alongside CRM and analytics functions. The company's new managed cloud service offers full installation and automatic upgrades, while Ektron Managed Cloud customers receive priority support.
