SpamExperts and WebOps platform Plesk have partnered on a new professional email security addon. Amsterdam, Netherlands-based SpamExperts offers a range of email security solutions, especially catering to shared web hosts and larger organizations like ISPs and telecommunication companies. The company’s inbound and outbound email filtering options can run within SpamExperts' ‘Hosted Cloud’ or its customers' virtual hardware-based clouds. The company also provides a range of email archiving options. Through the partnership with Plesk the two companies have succeeded in commoditizing email security.
Plesk, which has headquarters in Renton, Washington, United States, is an extremely well-known Internet brand. The company specializes in offering one of the Internet’s leading web hosting control panels for Windows and Linux servers. Using Plesk, website developers can manage every aspect of their sites, from adding new websites and setting up email accounts, to managing DNS entries. The new Plesk Extension addon “includes all of the professional email security products offered by SpamExperts”, with all available through a hosted cloud deployment. The addon allows Plesk users to purchase SpamExperts licenses “directly from their account”.
