Endpoint Protection Solutions Provider Kaspersky Lab Announces Launch of Hybrid Cloud Security Offering
Endpoint protection solutions provider Kaspersky Lab has announced the launch of a new hybrid cloud security offering. Kaspersky Lab, which has headquarters in Moscow, Russia, was established in 1997. The company specializes in IT security software development and is probably best known for anti-virus solutions that protect PCs worldwide. The company’s new offering expands its’ virtualization and cloud security portfolio.

Kaspersky’s Hybrid Cloud Security secures hybrid clouds environments and provides an API for integration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. It meets the protection requirements of companies that wish to benefit from public cloud capabilities but wish to maintain an on-premise infrastructure. The machine learning-assisted solution negates a number of techniques attackers use exploit vulnerabilities through “exploit prevention, vulnerability assessment and automated patch management”. It also offers hybrid cloud environments greater visibility.

“Keeping in mind how much valuable data is now stored in the cloud, it is critical for businesses to ensure they have holistic protection and visibility across all cloud platforms,” explained Kaspersky Lab Solution Business Lead, Vitaly Mzokov. “Our philosophy is to create a well-balanced blend of best-of-breed protection, resource efficiency, and enterprise-level orchestration capabilities for public and private cloud environments. We are sure that this combination will provide our customers with a secure migration to Amazon and Microsoft Azure cloud within their digital transformation projects,” he added.
