4PSA has announced the launch of VoipNow 3.5. The company, which has a presence in Bucharest, Romania and Panama City, Florida, USA, caters to a business customer base with products and services that enhance communication and collaboration. The company's VoipNow 3.5 Unified Communications platform is designed for service providers and utilized by around 10,000 providers globally.
VoipNow 3.5 offers a range of enhancements including "Big Data" analytics, search and an analytics engine that "can index virtually any information". It indexes real-time communication in a fashion that provides "insightful information" for providers and their customers. Version 3.5 also enables audio and voice telephony accessibility through browsers using WebRTC over SIP. The new version also simplifies encryption setup and supports more encryption standards to enhance audio and video communication privacy. Other improvements that will benefit providers includes security enhancements including firewall, SELinux support, and improved password strength management.
VoipNow enables providers to offer customers cloud communication services that benefit businesses of any size. Other 3.5 enhancements support for new audio codecs including the IETF Opus with FEC, as well as the VP8 video codec. The platform offers rapid set-up and deployment alongside automated provisioning and integrated billing.

Basically, starting May we are going to have a new VoipNow version every month".
