VipRede has selected hybrid cloud management software provider Abiquo to provide cloud services. VipRede, which has headquarters in Espirito Santo, Brazil, specializes in taking “end to end responsibility” for its customers’ requirements. Established in 2003, the company offers a range of services including backup and recovery options, disaster recovery services, and ‘ironclad’ hosting that includes collocation services through “synchronised data centers”. Abiquo will offer its “multi hypervisor ability” and utilize selected technologies from Dell, Unitrends and Datacore to provide VipRede with a “class-leading cloud offering which will enable a range of products from self-service cloud provision to a set of managed services”.
Abiquo has headquarters in the United Kingdom and offices in Europe. The company’s services extend to cloud orchestration software for service provider clouds. Leveraging its offerings Abiquo’s customers can manage hybrid, private or public cloud infrastructure from a single portal and quickly monetise their cloud services.
