UK Web Hosting Provider Fasthosts Offers MS Office Online

The company’s subscription service gives users access to Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint – entirely online. Subscription prices vary depending on the type of user, although those participating who are in education receive the service for $10 a month. A professional subscription includes access to Publisher, Access, and InfoPath.
Unlike the traditional versions of the MS Office, users an unable to use Fasthosts’ service offline, and any Internet disruption could result in loss of data. “If you lose a connection for any reason, the program may close and need to be reopened once a connection is resumed,” suggested a Fasthosts spokesperson addressing the issue. “We advise customers to check their autosave function to minimize any impact should the internet connection become intermittent”. The company plans offline access in the future.
