October 19, 2007
October 19, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – FatCow Web Hosting (http://www.fatcow.com) has gone pink by participating in the “Pink for October” program. The event brings attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which raises awareness of the issue and money for research.

FatCow has announced that during the month of October it will donate $1 from each sale of its popular Web site hosting solution, The FatCow, to help the American Cancer Society’s efforts to fight breast cancer. Web site and blog owners involved in the Pink for October program redesign their sites so that they are pink for the month of October.

“We are very proud and pleased to be able to participate in such a good cause,” explained FatCow’s Senior Director of Marketing, Ms. Jean McCarthy. “Our team cares a lot about women’s issues. This cause means a lot to our staff members, some of whom have close, personal stories about how breast cancer has impacted the people in their lives, and we know the American Cancer Society is a great organization to stand behind.”

Established in 1998, FatCow offers shared Web hosting solutions to individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses. The FatCow Plan is an all-in-one hosting plan offering 300GB of disk space, 3,000 GB of data transfer, website builder tools, unlimited email accounts, blogs and forums, and ecommerce capabilities.
