FDC Servers has launched a new unmetered bandwidth service for bare metal servers and enterprise colocation. FDC Servers, which has headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, United States, offers a wide range of services including dedicated servers, Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and colocation. The company bills its new option as offering “unprecedented deals on non-oversubscribed connectivity for bare metal servers and colocation”.
From December 1st, 2015 FDC Servers’ new service “will offer the most flexible and affordable way for hosting companies to deliver their content”. It will provide Tier 1 dedicated unmetered bandwidth for customers in North America and Europe, with individual servers providing up to 200 Gbps per server of connectivity. Alongside excellent connectivity pricing and 100% dedicated bandwidth, the service has no bandwidth oversubscription or overprovisioned uplink capacity.
Alongside unmetered traffic, the service will offer 60 Petabytes of data per server per month. FDC Servers’ brand name SSD servers will offer 72+GB RAM alongside “full IPMI access and fiber optic connectivity provisioned all the way to the server”. The company’s colocation service is also ideal for all aspects of hosting and content delivery including CDN, VPN, cloud, and virtualization services.
“Our dedicated bandwidth service product will enable startups and existing hosting companies to gain near instant access to Terabits of Internet connectivity across multiple continents and countries, without having to make a long term commitment or having to sign a contract,” explained FDC Servers’ founder, Petr Kral. “Secondly, consumers will benefit from the most aggressive bandwidth pricing on the market.”
