The former head of web hosting provider ResellerClub and LogicBoxes has announced the launch of new service. Shridhar Luthria was formerly Senior Vice President, Channel Partnerships at Endurance International Group, the Burlington, Massachusetts-based umbrella organization that manages several web hosting brands including big names like HostGator, HostYourSite.com, HyperMart, LogicBoxes, NetFirms, ReadyHosting.com, Verio and WebHost4Life. Mr. Luthria is now the Founder and CEO of
Logotron.
Logotron is a business unit of Cathect Technologies - a “bootstrapped B2B startup that focuses on building products for web hosts, domain registrars and resellers and web professionals.” Located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, the company is a ‘B2B’ automated logo builder service designed specifically for registrars and web hosts to resell. The first product Logotron has released, it is the world’s first white-label and margin rich ‘Logo Builder’ with API and WHMCS integration options. The service has been made available as a free download on the WHMCS Marketplace.
“Hosting providers today know that their SMB customers are using several different web products like logo builders, email marketing, or even CRMs and HR tools,” suggested Mr. Luthria. “Unfortunately, there are no providers out there that offer a meaningful way to resell these types of products. They don’t have the right integration options or even the right margins that make sense for B2B partners. This is the gap we’re trying to fill.”
