Former Virtustream executive Daniel Campbell has joined omni-channel solutions provider
NCR Corporation (NCR). NCR, which has headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, offers software, hardware and other services that facilitate around “700 million transactions daily across financial, retail, hospitality, travel, telecom and technology industries”. With approximately 30,000 employees the company operates globally. Mr. Campbell joins NCR as Executive Vice President, Global Sales.
In his new role Mr. Campbell will report to Mark Benjamin, NCR’s President and Chief Operating Officer. The role will require him to oversee the company’s global sales teams and its channel and sales operations in a number of industries. Prior to joining NCR he was Senior Vice President and General Manager at Virtustream (Virtustream Storage Cloud), a Bethesda, Maryland-based IaaS, managed services and cloud computing management software provider. Virtustream was acquired by EMC in 2015. Before this he was EMC Corporation’s (Dell EMC’s) SVP, Global Specialty Sales.
