Founder of Web Host AIT to Launch Radio Show

The founder and CEO of web host AIT (http://www.ait.com) and search engine tyBit (www.tyBit.com) is to launch a radio show, it was announced yesterday. “The Clarence Briggs Show” will feature Internet entrepreneur Clarence E. Briggs and focus on “the profound impact of the Internet on our lives”. The show will also draw on Briggs’ experience as a former U.S. Army Infantry Officer and his entrepreneurial activities, and consider issues such as “How has the Internet impacted politics, privacy, religion, national security, the legal system and marketplace?”

The live radio talk show begins in April and will debut on WFNC in North Carolina, USA. It will also be available on AIT’s website as a Podcast. There are plans for US syndication “across multiple major markets”. Cumulus Broadcasting, owner and operator of over 300 radio stations, including 222 FM stations, was chosen as AIT’s broadcast platform. “We chose Cumulus Broadcasting as the platform from which to launch the radio show because of their commitment to excellence in broadcasting, the quality of their listenership, and their national reach,” said VP of Marketing and Business Development at AIT, Alphonso Whitfield.
