Free Rider Web Hosting Offers Free Private Registration for Customers Who Purchase or Transfer Five or More Domains

October 2, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Free Rider Web Hosting (http://www.frwh.net) is offering free private registration for customers who purchase or transfer five or more domains, the company announced yesterday. Private registration usually costs $8.95 per domain per year. The promotion ends October 14, 2007.

Free Rider’s service is available for .com, .net, .info, .biz, .name and .org domains and allows customers to register domains through Domains by Proxy (an affiliate company) with all details “kept private” and not published in Whois listings. Users of the service retain “full rights over their domain” and are able to sell, transfer and cancel any domain they purchase.

"There is a lot of debate happening at the moment around the topic of privacy," explained Free Rider Web Hosting’s CEO, Mr. Simon Drain. "Some people want to be able to exercise freedom of speech on the Internet, and may feel more comfortable if their details were kept private. Other people may be concerned about receiving spam or advertising material, or even identity theft, and want to keep their details private to prevent this. On the other hand, some people use the Internet for objectionable purposes such as posting defamatory or threatening material, and it is helpful to know the details of those people for legal purposes."
