Fully Managed Cloud and Colocation Provider Webair Announces Launch of SAP Cloud Hosting

Fully managed cloud and colocation provider Webair Internet Development Inc. (Webair) has announced the launch of an SAP cloud hosting solution. Webair, which has headquarters in Garden City, New York, United States, was established in 1996. The company bills itself as “an innovative, agile and unique managed hosting company focused on providing the right solutions to customer needs”. It has data centers in New York and Los Angeles, United States, Montréal, Canada and Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Webair’s services include public, private and hybrid cloud offerings alongside cloud storage, “Bare Metal Servers”, and security and disaster recovery options. Its new SAP cloud hosting solution combines its managed infrastructure with HMS Technology Group LLC's management of SAP software and applications. Webair's new SAP option covers all aspects of the cloud and provides configuration, licensing and application support alongside legacy migration and post-migration optimization services.
Webair is also focusing on SAP HANA which “combines database and application platform capabilities” allowing companies to “reduce transactional speeds from weeks to seconds, obtain real-time analytics, improve predictive and spatial processing” and reduce costs on storage by making additional systems unnecessary.
The platform also offers “text analytics and search, spatial data processing, predictive analytics and processing, series data processing, and streaming data processing”. It also allows customers to access Webair's Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS), Hybrid Cloud services, Private and Public Cloud, and Managed Backups alongside other value-added services.
