Accenture has acquired Managed Services Provider (MSP) Cirruseo. Accenture, which has headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, has been in business since 1989. The company offers management consulting services that cover the digital aspects of business and related technologies. It is a Fortune Global 500 company offering “unmatched experience and specialized skills across more than 40 industries and all business functions”. Accenture operates in 120 countries and with more than 2,600 Google Cloud users on its books, its acquisition of Cirruseo will allow Accenture to leverage its status as a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services provider. Financial aspects of the deal have not been disclosed and completion is pending French government approval.
Cirruseo, which has headquarters in Paris, France and offices in Toulouse, was established in 2011. The company is Google Cloud’s first independent partner in France. As a ‘Google Cloud Premier Partner’ it has expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions and Google offerings like G Suite. It leverages its experience to provide its customers with the cloud solutions they require. Cirruseo is also involved in the bespoke development of business applications. It has more than 600 customers including key European customers like La Banque Postale, Euromaster, and Europcar. It is a ChannelE2E Top 100 Public Cloud MSP in France.
“The addition of Cirruseo would be a significant step forward in our growth strategy in France, bringing a strong team of Google Cloud specialists to Accenture,” explained Accenture’s Geographic Unit Managing Director for France and Benelux, Olivier Girard in a statement. “The combination of Cirruseo’s mastery of Google Cloud technologies with our expertise in digital marketing, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity would enhance our ability to deliver a unique end-to-end service offering to help clients with their digital transformations.”
