October 25, 2017
Global payments company Veem has been awarded ‘Built for NetSuite’ status. Veem, which has headquarters in San Francisco, California, was only established in 2014. The company bills itself as a "next generation platform for business-to-business payment" and offers the 'VeemSuiteApp' - a payments solution used globally by more 40,000 companies. The app was built using Oracle NetSuite’s SuiteCloud platform. VeemSuiteApp works from within NetSuite and enables businesses to make international transfers to more than 60 countries worldwide.
Through the Built for NetSuite program NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network (SDN) partners are provided with "information, resources and a method to help them verify that their applications and integrations". The program ensures solutions developed using the NetSuite SuiteCloud Computing Platform adhere to NetSuite’s exacting standards and practices. In turn, the program gives NetSuite customers "additional confidence that SuiteApps have been built to meet these standards". The VeemSuiteApp enables users to "bypass outdated banking technologies with high wire fees and connect directly to vendors and customers around the globe". It leverages NetSuite's native procure-to-pay workflows, approvals and forms to allow users to pay bills from NetSuite over the Veem platform.
“Veem’s mission is to power global businesses by allowing them to let go of time consuming back office processes,” explained Marwan Forzley, the CEO of Veem. “Less time on process details means more time for what matters - growth and innovation. The VeemSuiteApp allows NetSuite users to get rid of their international wire transfer anxiety, minimize bank fees, and manage global vendor and customer relationships through one simple, trusted platform.”
