Accenture has acquired independent SAP partner Edenhouse. Operating in more than 120 countries, Accenture was founded in 1989. It has global headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, and offers strategy, consulting, and interactive, technology and operations services powered by “the world’s largest network of Advanced Technology and Intelligent Operations centers”. The deal comes on the heels of acquisitions that included New Zealand-based SAP and cloud solutions technology firm Zag in October of last year.
Accenture offers digital, cloud, and security services to support its management consulting, systems integration, business process outsourcing, and application and infrastructure outsourcing options. It caters to companies in more than 40 industries. Accenture’s acquisition of United Kingdom-based Edenhouse strengthens its SAP cloud capabilities and underscores its leadership in the UK. Financial aspects of the deal were not released.
Established in 2008, Edenhouse is an SAP platinum partner. The company specializes in offering SAP options to medium-sized companies. The company’s SAP value extends to on-premises and cloud-based solutions, which it supports with in-depth technical knowledge and industry know-how. The awards it has received include SAP EMEA North Award for Partner Excellence 2021 for Top SME Cloud Performer. The acquisition adds 220 professionals to Accenture’s SAP Business Group and this will allow the company to enhance its UK activity effectively.
