Progress has announced the cloud infrastructure of DigitalOcean, Inc. is now available for its Modulus Platform users who deploy apps in the Asia-Pacific region. Modulus users can now use DigitalOcean's cloud infrastructure to host, deploy and manage Node.js applications.
Progress' move underscores the company's commitment to the APAC region and strengthens the Modulus platform's position as "the only Node.JS enterprise-class deployment PaaS on the market". The move also enables Progress customers to establish global applications with the support of the "best-in-class regional support in Asia and Australia".
DigitalOcean has headquarters in New York, USA and has servers in New York, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Singapore and London. The company offers cloud servers that provide 512MB of RAM, 20GB SSD, 1 CPU, and 1TB transfer at a starting price of $5 per month. Its services are underpinned by a genuine 99.99% uptime guarantee. The Modulus platform provides a technology stack for those hosting and deploying applications. It offers hosted service solutions alongside public, private and hybrid cloud, and on-premise service options.
