Paul van Brouwershaven, former CTO of Networking4all, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to further accelerate GlobalSign’s expansion in Europe.
Working in the online security and hosting industries for over ten years, Paul van Brouwershaven is passionate about the Internet business. From developing recognized, trusted web applications to extensive research into online security, Paul has not only developed a solid customer base for the companies he has worked for, but also gained personal international recognition. A trusted spokesperson to the media within the SSL world, moving to GlobalSign will allow him to apply his industry knowledge to a new challenge.
As customers are increasingly looking for reliable and competitive alternatives to incumbent providers, GlobalSign has shown considerable growth in the SSL market over the past few years in terms of the number of certificates issued, with a staggering growth in 2011 of over 100% in Europe and 40% worldwide, according to Netcraft statistics.
